Creature design - Parasitic Horns

While brainstorming monster ideas with a friend I got the idea for a parasite that binds iron from its host's blood into horns that it then uses to house a whole colony of goopy parasites. Since I wanted to practice rendering some more I decided to choose a design and go at it after a very quick sketch. I'm not 100% happy with the outcome, but hey, practice makes perfect.
